Hi Everyone! Happy Labor Day!! Whoohoo! I was able to complete Maria's Monday Madness video tutorial. My Internet did not flake out on me today! What is this tutorial about. . .well it's basically mixing the "Polished Stone" technique and adding stickers to create a "resist" or "masking" to create the sentiment. It's just a fun way to create a sentiment.
I used the retired "Brocade Background" designer paper for this card because it matched the stamped image! The color combo is "True Thyme, Pumpkin Pie, and Blush Blossom". Although I used "Cameo Coral" as one of the re-inkers to create the Polished Stone effect, it was primarily used to soften the Pumpkin Pie ink so the colors wouldn't look so orange.
Hope y'all are having a fabulous Labor Day!

I luv it Maria, it's so beautiful! I don't have any re-inkers so I can't try it for awhile, but I will someday 'cause I'm going to save your video & put it in my favorites. Thanks so much for sharing this fabulous technique!
Thank you I loved watching the video.
I had an idea while watching it could stick any stickers to a photo paper before you printed your photo and remove them after they had gone through the printer and when you removed them after printing you could have a name etc.
Very interesting effect when you add the alcohol to the dye inks. Thanks for sharing.
