Hi Ladies!! It's Maria's Monday Madness Video Tutorial again! Ummmm, it's Wednesday, Maria! Yeah, I know! Sheesh, you had to remind me, huh! LOL! I know I'm sorry. . .I was behind on everything because life seem to get in the way all the time.Unfortunately, creating these tutorials don't happen quickly. . .many times, the problem lies with my dumb computer. It really hates my videos. Whenever I create a video tutorial, it starts to act up and actually starts to wheeze. . .seriously! I mean like it has an asthma attack or something. Then I have to edit the video. . .YouTube has a 10 minute video limit so I have to edit the video so it fits within the 10 minute mark which is a pain in the butt.
Anyway. . .today's tutorial is on watercoloring and mixing two mediums - SU Markers and Pastels to color your image. Hmmm, that's a weird mix and what's the point of mixing them. Here's the rational reason. . . .okay, not everyone has all the SU Markers or even all of the Pastel colors so you either have to live with what you have or buy more of them. Well, not everyone can afford to buy everything so to compensate for the lack of colors, mixing mediums expand your available color palette.
My video tutorial will show you how to do it. Keep in mind, the tutorial is approximately 9 minutes long so be sure to bring you coffee with you, sit and relax, and listen to me ramble! LOL!
Here is the image at a closer view. To some degree, I wish I had added a little more yellow color to the pumpkin but oh, well. . .When you have a chance try out this technique and tell me what you think.

Monday....wednesday...anyday! I just feel so lucky to watch you work. This is absolute gorgeousness! I love seeing how you mix mediums. The way you went back into the wet to blend again was a stroke of genius and the pastel marker mix ROCKS! Thanks for the fab inspiration! :O)
